Although this beach may look rocky, the swimming area is protected by a reef, creating a safe lagoon. The anchialine ponds, which flow to the ocean, are tailor-made for kids. Snorkeling is good during calm water conditions. Rarely crowded, this beach has lifeguards on weekends and holidays, plus restrooms, showers and picnic areas.
