Every Monday night from mid-June to late August, a mob of New Yorkers brings blankets and picnic dinners to Bryant Park in Midtown, to watch classic films on a big outdoor screen. To get a good spot is a sport: go before 5pm, when the lawn opens, and be prepared to sprint.
