At the entrance to Bhootnath Bazar, 100m northwest of Indira Market, Mandi's most active historic temple is a small 16th-century stone structure with attractively naïve carvings around the base of its sikhara and sanctum.
It forms the focal point for the animated Shivaratri Festival honouring Lord Shiva in February/March.
