Aros Centre

On the southern edge of Portree, the Aros Centre is a combined visitor center, book and gift shop, restaurant, theater and cinema. The 45-minute movie Skye Story is screened hourly from 10am to 4pm (admission per adult/child £8.50/free) and allows you to take a virtual tour of the island and its history. The center is a useful rainy-day retreat, with an indoor soft play area for children.
