Ansan

A relatively easy climb, 296m Ansan is topped with a bongsudae , a beacon tower used to relay smoke signals during the Joseon dynasty. The mountain’s numerous trails include the accessible Ansan Jarak-gil. On the northwest flank is the Y eonhui Forest Rest Area , filled with flower beds, a herb garden and a babbling stream. From here, you might be able to hear the soothing sounds of the Hongje-cheon Artificial Waterfall , which pours off the mountain’s base and into the Hongje Stream. Admire the scene from a small beach, a beanbag chair or the large Cafe Pokpo across the stream.
