Walking west along busy Al Saliba St eventually leads to the Mosque of Ibn Tulun. A short detour north on Suyufiyya St brings you to this restored home of one of Sultan Al Nasir Muhammad’s closest advisers, who later controlled the throne through Sultan Hassan. The palace is now used as a cultural center but you're free to enter and view the salons.
