Alonso Building

This two-story 1877 structure was home to the popular Los Dos Cañones mercantile store, and the cast-iron balcony upstairs is one of several around Brownsville that display Creole architectural influences more commonly seen in New Orleans. The building is only occasionally open to the public, for private events.
