Surti Sunni Jamah Mosque

Yangon

Built in the 1860s, this is thought to be Yangon's oldest surviving Muslim place of worship. Its pair of large minarets flanks an equally imposing arched entrance tower.

The street on which it stands used to be known as Mughal St and was at the centre of the Indian sector of the city.
