Anthi Eeswaran Temple

Kuala Lumpur

Enshrining a Shiva lingam brought from India, this Hindu temple was built in 1937 and has one of the largest goporums (towers) in Southeast Asia. The densely decorated and multicoloured tower contrasts spectacularly with the contemporary condo towers nearby.

A gate connects this temple to the Maha Kaliamman Temple.
