Rise and shine for another full and fantastic day exploring Santiago’s outskirts. This morning, you’ll meet your expert local guide for a private, full-day tour of Cajón del Maipo, a breathtaking valley in the heart of the Andes. To kick off this day trip, you’ll head about an hour and a half southeast of Santiago, stopping first at the charming mountain town of San José de Maipo. Here, you’ll have the option to enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee at a traditional cafe before continuing your adventure alongside the Maipo River. As you drive along the scenic, river-adjacent road, you’ll ease deeper and deeper into the Andes, gaining incredible views and vantage points all along the way.
