A little more than two hours into your day’s scenic road trip, you’ll pause at Plitvice Lakes National Park, the first national park in all of Croatia. Upon arriving here, you’ll meet your local expert guide for a thrilling nature tour, during which you’ll walk along the park's wooden paths and bridges. Plitvice Lakes harbors an exquisite series of 16 emerald and blue travertine lakes, more than 90 waterfalls, and numerous caves — many of which you'll see during today's tour. After your guided foray into this swath of UNESCO-recognized land, you’ll have time at leisure to enjoy lunch and further explore at your own pace before resuming the journey to Zadar.
