Overview

It’s time to bid your goodbyes to Dublin – and head south. After breakfast this morning, you’ll pick up your rental car and begin the road trip portion of this trip. In less than two hours, you’ll reach the medieval city of Waterford. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the world-famous Waterford Crystal Factory, where you’ll enjoy a private tour with a local expert guide. When your tour ends, you’ll tuck in to a delicious spread of a traditional afternoon tea, replete with finger sandwiches, scones, and, of course, black tea with milk and sugar on the side. In the afternoon, you’ll be let loose for free time, so if you’re looking for something to do, take a stroll around the Medieval Quarter. Here, you’ll get a glimpse of Waterford’s Viking, Norman, and Georgian past. Alternatively, you can head back to your hotel and indulge in a spa treatment or play a round of golf. You’re in southern Ireland now, so you’ll get to know this country from all angles. (Breakfast)
