Good morning from the jungle! After breakfast at your bungalow, you’ll set off on a thrilling adventure through neighboring Gunung Leuser National Park: the crown jewel of this outdoors-centric area. This morning, you’ll follow an expert park guide on a three-hour trekking and tubing tour focused on finding orangutan and other forms of wildlife. Today’s terrain will prove both flat and varied, so you’re in for some ascents, calm stretches, and descents over the course of your tour. Although challenging in some sections, the day’s route promises all the rewards. Think: orangutans, gibbons, thomas leaf monkeys, longtail and pigtail macaques, flying squirrels, Sumatra peacocks, hornbills, and more.
