Panda Care and Sichuan Flavors
Overview
Set out at 8:00 AM for Dujiangyan Panda Base, about an hour and a half from Chengdu. Learn about the reserve’s work to support panda conservation and, if you choose, take part in panda-care activities such as breaking bamboo and making panda cakes. Share lunch with the staff, then return to Chengdu for a Sichuan cooking class, beginning with a visit to the spice market. (Breakfast; dinner)
