Overview

After breakfast this morning, it’s time to get your hands dirty. By now, you’ve seen some of Bristol’s best examples of street art, so you can put those observations to the test during a fun street art-making workshop. Alongside a local artist, you’ll tap into your creative side and try spray painting your very own street art piece. During this hands-on lesson, you’ll not only discover your own artistic style but also realize all the ways in which graffiti parallels a version of storytelling. It’s an all-encompassing art form you’ll get to experience in full. After your graffiti session, you’ll wash your hands and head to the water for a relaxing cruise through Bristol’s historic waterways. As you cruise along the harbor, you can’t help but imagine the days when infamous pirates like Blackbeard sailed these very routes.

Highlights

Graffiti Workshop

During this artist-led graffiti workshop, you’ll pick up techniques used by local artists and discover the nuances of making your own graffiti. You’ll learn how to spray paint your very own designs, having fun with the process — and gaining a newfound appreciation for street art.

Bristol Boat Tour

Once a bustling center of maritime trade and industry, Bristol’s waters played a key role in shaping the city during the 18th and 19th centuries. Now, they’re your boat’s pathway, best experienced during a scenic, sightseeing cruise spearheaded by an expert boat captain.
