Ramat HaNegev Winery

As remote as it gets, the Ramat HaNegev Winery is situated in the tiny village of Kadesh Barnea, right on the Israeli-Egyptian border. This commercial-sized outfit, overlooking the Sinai desert, sells more than 80,000 bottles a year and offers tours of its ecofriendly vineyard. The owners were educated in viticulture in Tuscany, and their wines have a distinct European influence.
