About the author
I am a travel-obsessed writer, photojournalist, filmmaker and author of Ohio: A Photographic Journey. My travel skills include packing in under 20 minutes and a keen ability to bend time and space, except when my kiddo is in tow. I am based in Cleveland, Ohio, but I feel most at home in Colombia, where my husband and I adopted our daughter in 2016. Since then, it’s been my goal to explore the country’s incredible cultural and geographic diversity. I’ve been contributing to Lonely Planet since 2019.
