Sorry, Paris, but Lahore is my city of love, where every visit feels like a reunion with my soul. Raised between Pakistan, Germany, and the UK, I’ve always moved through overlapping cultures. Each destination pulls at my heart in its own way, shaping the stories I tell and deepening my understanding of diaspora experiences. And then there's another favourite, Konya, Turkey, where the whirling dervishes and ancient minarets inspire me in new ways. But ask me where home is, and I’ll say that those who are destined to travel may never truly find a single place to call home. Over the years, my passion for travel and culture has led me to work as a journalist for Al Jazeera, serve as an ambassador, and a teaching instructor for their travel journalism course. I’m also the founder and editor of Capra Falconeri Traveller, a print magazine celebrating travel in Pakistan.
