St Kilda Botanical Gardens

Gardens in St Kilda

Taking pride of place on the southern line of the Barkly, Carlisle and Blessington St triangle, the Botanical Gardens are an unexpected haven from St Kilda's hustle. Wide gravel paths invite a leisurely stroll, and there are plenty of shady spots for sprawling on the open lawns. Features include local indigenous plants, a subtropical-rainforest conservatory and a giant chessboard (smaller ones are built into adjoining tables).
