Some are booze-cruise-style tours so check you're getting what you want. Hotels and agencies sell tickets or you can negotiate a price with the boat companies around the tourist office at the marina.
The normal tour (Fethiye Körfezi) visits Yassıcalar (Flat Island) for a stop and a swim, then Tersane Island for a dip in the turquoise waters and a visit to the ruins, followed by Akvaryum (Aquarium) for lunch, a swim and a snorkel. Cennet Köü (Paradise Bay) is next for a dip, followed by Klopatra Hamamı (Cleopatra's…

Lycian Way
Acclaimed as one of the top 10 long-distance walks in the world, the Lycian Way follows signposted paths around the Teke peninsula to Antalya. The route leads through pine and cedar forests in the shadow of mountains rising almost 3000m, past villages, stunning coastal views and an embarrassment of ruins at ancient Lycian cities. Walk it in sections (unless you have plenty of time and stamina).
Fethiye is at the western end of this 500km walking trail, which leads south from here to Faralya and Butterfly Valley.

Seven Capes
One of the best ways to see the Med up close is in a sea kayak. A very experienced outfit Seven Capes has both daily tours (€40), including an excellent four-hour one between Ölüdeniz and Kabak via Butterfly Valley (€50), and 'night paddling' (€45) under the stars from sunset to midnight. Surreal.
