The Castle St bus stop is the hub for Arriva bus 5/5X, which runs to Llandudno (20 minutes, every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday, hourly Sunday), KMP bus 9/9A to Llandudno (every 20 to 40 minutes Monday to Saturday) and Arriva bus X19 to Llangollen (1¾ hours, every 2½ hours Monday to Saturday, two services Sunday).

The train station bus stop is the hub for KMP bus 9/9A to Bangor (40 minutes, every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday) and Arriva Bus 5 to Bangor (40 minutes, hourly Monday to Saturday).

Conwy is on the North Coast Line, although Llandudno Junction, a 15-minute walk west of Conwy across the river, is the nearest mainline station for inter-city connections. There are trains hourly to Llandudno Junction (£1.70, three minutes).
