Getting there & around
Unless you’re driving, Melbourne is usually the main entry and exit point for Victoria. Bus and train services within country Victoria are operated by V/Line (13 61 96; www.vline.com.au). Major bus companies operating throughout Victoria include Greyhound (13 14 99; www.greyhound.com.au) and Firefly (1300 730 740; www.fireflyexpress.com.au). Viclink (13 61 38; www.viclink.com.au) operates a thrice-weekly service connecting towns along the Great Ocean Rd up to the Grampians.
Note that there are border restrictions preventing fruit being carried into or out of Victoria in an effort to stop the spread of fruit fly.
