The pristine bus terminal sits behind the YPF rotunda at the northern entrance to town. Taxis (AR$4) provide the only transport between here and the center, other than a flat 15-minute walk. Buses leave daily at 10:30am and 1:40am for Los Antiguos (AR$13, 40 minutes), and at 1:50am for Comodoro Rivadavia (AR$49, five hours) via Caleta Olivia (AR$42, four hours). Buses to El Calafate (AR$153, 19 hours) via RN 3 go at 5:05pm, stopping at Caleta Olivia.

Several shuttle services also offering excursions serve travelers on RN 40.
