The secret behind Gruyère cheese is revealed in Pringy, directly opposite Gruyères train station (1.5km below town). Cheesemaking takes place three to four times daily between 9am and 11am, and 12.30pm and 2.30pm. A combined ticket for the dairy and Château de Gruyères costs Sfr16 (no child combo).
