This exhibit uses artefacts and photographs to tell the extraordinary story of a girl who needs no introduction. Who hasn’t read the diary Anne Frank penned while hiding from the Nazis in Amsterdam? Frank perished from typhus at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp just days before her 16th birthday. An entire room is devoted to her diary and its profound impact on postwar generations.
Ticket holders may also download a free app with a guided audiotour around Jewish Berlin. For nonticket holders, the cost is €4.95.
