Magnificently retro or dog-eared and dated – the hotel that mobster Meyer Lansky built in 1957 is a bit of both. The lobby, with its sharp modernist lines and Vegas-style ostentation, looks like a set from The Godfather: Part II, while the rooms are less striking.
