Kastner

Upper Austria

Kastner has been guarding a secret gingerbread recipe since 1559; sample freshly baked fruit, nut, honey and chocolate varieties at the bakery shop, or stop for something more substantial at its cafe. From January to October, you can take a one-hour guided factory tour (adult/child €5.90/4.50); English tours can be arranged with advance notice.
