Dar Attajalli

Years of patient restoration preserved the integrity of this building, which now has six supremely comfortable, elegant guest rooms. The courtyard is relatively small, which keeps some rooms naturally cool – but also dim. If you prefer light, book La Masria (sleeps four), or the rooftop Menzeh, with the same fine views as the rest of the terrace. Breakfast is bounteous.

For dinner, a restaurant, open to non-guests, does an excellent set menu, including vegetarian and vegan options (book ahead).
