Every month, we curate the best videos, blog posts and Instagrams from our Lonely Planet Pathfinders.

This month we’re featuring Wanderlust Chloe and her video that brims with advice and tips for first-timers to Glasgow, Scotland.

From the best brunch spots and colourful street art to the coolest shopping areas, this is a round-up of my trip to Glasgow. Find out why Scotland's second city is totally underrated, and where I’d recommend if you’re here for the first time!’

Why we like it: balancing interesting footage with tips and essential information is key when creating an engaging travel video. We think Chloe ticks all the boxes here. Chloe has a great on-screen presence. We enjoyed the mixture of pans, close-ups and first-person shots that make us feel like we're along for the ride.

Thanks to all the Pathfinders who submitted their videos this month. Videographer Mark Hadj Hamou submitted some great videos on his recent adventures in the Philippines, while Sylvia from Spin the Globe made some informative videos sharing her accessible travel experiences in New Zealand, Singapore and Disneyland in Hong Kong.

Keep your eyes peeled on our Thorn Tree forum where we’ll post the next submission call-out. Find out what else our Lonely Planet Pathfinders are up to (or sign up yourself!) by checking out the Pathfinders video playlist and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
