One of just a handful of hotels in Kihei, the snazzy Maui Coast has a lot going for it – sharp, modern rooms and a fun poolside bar – but the daily resort fee of $25 is off-putting. The property is not on the beach, and it’s more hotel than sprawling resort. The included local shuttle service is a nice touch.
Overall, it’s clean and comfortable, and its location back from the road keeps it quieter than other places on the strip. The resort fee also includes parking and a laundry room.
