Welcome to Anahola
Most travelers don’t even stop in sleepy Anahola, a Hawaiian fishing and farming village with rootsy charm and a stunning coastline. Pineapple and sugar plantations once thrived here, but today the area is mainly residential, with subdivisions of Hawaiian homestead lots. The few who spend the night will find rural seclusion among longtime locals.
Grouped together at the side of Kuhio Hwy, just south of mile marker 14, Anahola’s diminutive commercial center includes a post office and a convenience store with a fantastic deli.
