This lovely rugged gray-sand and pebble beach, just north of looming Petit Piton, has some good snorkeling just offshore. There is an interesting petroglyph covered in moss on a large rock about 200m north of the entrance. It faces the jungle so you have to walk around the back to spot it. Or ask local guide Kaya to show you the way – he's usually hanging around the entrance.
Malgretoute is south of Soufrière. Head along the Vieux Fort Rd then take the small road toward Sugar Beach and keep a lookout for the beach access road down the hill. The entire area around Malgretoute has been bought for yet another mega resort, so access may become limited.
