La Esquina del Camarón

Queens

Hidden in the back of a rather nondescript deli (E Smoke and Convenience) you'll find a counter where skilled staffers whip up some of the best shrimp cocktails on the planet. They come loaded with shrimp (and/or octopus) and are topped with sliced avocado. Zingy, refreshing and mouthwateringly good.

On weekends, an outdoor stall on 80th St also operates.
