An integral part of the landscape of Ayjah, and visible from the corniche in Sur, these three small round towers made of sandstone once guided dhows to safe harbour in Sur's sheltered lagoon. It's possible to drive up to the base of them to get a closer look, but most interesting is their strategic location along the edge of the harbour. They form part of the rhythm of the scenic water view at sunset and are much photographed as a result.
