Dunedin Chinese Garden

Dunedin

Built to recognise the contribution of Dunedin's Chinese community, this walled garden was constructed in Shanghai before being dismantled and reassembled in its current location. The tranquil confines contain all of the elements of a classical Chinese garden, including ponds, pavilions, rockeries, stone bridges and a tea house. There's also a small display on the history of the local Chinese community.
