Jaya Varahi Temple

Bhaktapur

About 200m west of Potters' Sq, the red-brick Jaya Varahi is dedicated to Parvati as the boar-headed Varahi. Look for two very different depictions of the goddess on the torana above the central doorway and the torana over the window above. The main entrance is actually at the eastern end of the facade, flanked by shiny metal lions and banners.
