InterContinental Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort

Top choice

One of the more luxurious ski accommodations in Korea is this InterContinental-managed hotel at the foot of Alpensia Ski Resort. The grand lobby lounge with open fireplace has delicious views of the slopes and rooms are spacious, with soft beds, flat-screen TVs and terraces, some overlooking the slopes.

There's an on-site Western restaurant, and a spa with segregated Korean sauna and heated indoor soaking pools.

Staff speak excellent English and service is to a high international standard. Amazingly, good discounts often make this a more affordable option than the other hotels in the Alpensia complex, possibly because it's two-minutes' walk further from the slopes.
