Introducing our Lonely Planet experts

Nicola Williams - follow her at @tripalong

Nicola Williams
A self-confessed Paris addict, there is nothing Nicola enjoys more than walking to the end of every last avenue and leafy Haussmann boulevard in the name of research for Lonely Planet’s Paris guidebooks and digital content. She has lived in France and written about it for more than a decade, and divides her time between Paris, Lake Geneva and wherever else in France, Switzerland or Italy that beckons for work (by laurie at dresshead). Nicola travels both solo and en famille with her three trilingual kids.

Sally Davies - follow her at @BCNexpert

Sally-Davies-Barceloona

Sally Davies went to Barcelona in 2001 on holiday and still hasn’t used the return leg of the ticket. Seduced by its beauty, its sunshine and its late and crazy nights, she then began a quest to find every single good restaurant, the quirkiest museum exhibit and the most peaceful spot for a coffee. This life-absorbing quest shows no signs of nearing the end.
