Rahibeler Manastırı

Monastery in Göreme

Downhill from the Çarıklı Kilise, the cordoned-off Rahibeler Manastırı (Nunnery) was originally several storeys high. During the 11th century a small community of nuns resided here. All that remain are a large plain dining hall and, up some steps, a small chapel with unremarkable frescoes.
