Join us on Twitter for USA road trip week

Have you ever been tempted to jump in the car and see where the road takes you? Perhaps driving along the open road is your go-to travel style, windows down and music turned up high? With the launch of our brand new Road Trip travel guide series, we’re getting our travel plans into gear!

Join us this week on @lonelyplanetusa as we team up with Roadtrippers to round up some top road trippin’ tips. Six editions of our new Road Trip series will also be up for grabs – more details on the competition below.

We’re also hosting an #LPtakes5 Twitter chat with Roadtrippers co-founder Tatiana Parent on Wednesday 13 May at 11am PDT/7pm GMT+1 via @lonelyplanet.

Three of our guides cover road trips throughout California and cross-country via Route 66. To learn more about them, download a free sampler from Amazon or iTunes, or get more information from Roadtrippers about the Pacific Coast Highway, Napa and Route 66.
