Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden on a warm summer's morning in Lavender Bay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden (wendyssecretgarden.org.au) is a fairy-tale garden that was once described largely as a wasteland until Wendy lovingly tended to it after the passing of her husband, Australian artist Brett Whiteley. Free to visit, the garden occasionally hosts complimentary drawing classes beneath its leafy fig trees. Trails throughout the garden are generally uneven and steep. Signage is limited, but several entrances exist and are easy to find along Lavender St.
