Chua Bo De Temple

New Orleans

The Chua Bo De temple is about 7 miles outside of the city near the English Turn golf course. It's a typically Vietnamese Buddhist structure, filled with Chinese-style bodhisattvas (Buddhist saints), photos of and offerings to dead ancestors, and lots of red and gold in the color scheme.
