Al Itihad Square

Abu Dhabi

This square, trapped between busy main roads, offers good views of the tower-clustered skyline of the western Corniche Rd. Photos of the square's little mosque, with its caramel-toned stone and octagonal minaret, backed by steel and glass high-rises, make for a good contrast of Abu Dhabi's different faces. Particularly good at sunset.
