This is a great stop for a picnic if you're passing through the forest, and you can stroll to the Charco Azul natural pool via the appropriately named Charco Azul Trail. You can also camp here: reserve a berth 15 days in advance with the DRNA (Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales) in San Juan.
