Trishaws (saiq-ka, as in sidecar) are slowly being pushed off the roads by the influx of cars. In downtown Yangon they can be found mostly around markets, near train stations and at points along main roads. Trishaw passengers ride with the driver, but back to back (one facing forward, one backward). Drivers charge around K1000 for a short journey. They're not very comfortable, especially if you're tall or broad.
