Tap House

Known to all as the Tappy, this lively street-side pub attracts loads of locals at the weekend, and often hosts gigs – Donavon Frankenreiter, Ben Howard and Newton Faulkner have all played here. The interior is all present and correct: surfboards on the walls, wood floors, scarlet-red furnishings. The £7.50 lunchtime menu is great value.
