Welcome to Celebration
Built by Disney from the swamps in 1994, tiny Celebration is small-town America like you imagine it may have once been…perfect. Before Desperate Housewives and The Truman Show; before strip malls; before leaf blowers. We could wonder what goes on behind closed doors, but why? It's glorious to relax at the delightful public seating areas over coffee while the kids play in the splash fountain, wander beyond the lake on one of the strolling trails or even hire a bike for a leisurely pedal. (Maybe it doesn't sound that exciting, but wasn't that day at Universal's Islands of Adventure exciting enough?)
Celebration sits off Hwy 192, just east of I-4 and a few miles from Walt Disney World. The main attraction is the small lake, which has a manicured promenade circling its length and palm trees dotting the banks.
