Paternoster is a lovely town to visit. Not so many years ago, it was the West Coast’s last traditional fishing village, little more than a clutch of simple whitewashed homes set against the blue sea. Today it's also a second home to wealthy Capetonians and foreigners who became captivated by its charms: namely calm (if chilly) waters, an expansive and often empty beach and some lovely places to eat and sleep.
