Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi

North Male Atoll

Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi is a good choice for a family holiday where activities are laid on in bucket loads. Run by the Sri Lankan Adaaran group, this large and high-quality resort is set on an almond-shaped island fringed by gorgeous white-sand beaches and centred on a huge hangar-like reception surrounded by restaurants, bars and a great pool.

The rooms are bright and tasteful with a rustic feel, despite being well-equipped and featuring outdoor showers in the higher categories. There's a gym, a spa, water sports and dive centres and a choice of two restaurants and two bars. It's a perfect destination for comfortable but unpretentious romance, family holidays and diving.
