June is Pride Month all over the globe and 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, the public demonstration of LGBT rights that took place in New York City which is regarded as the start of the LGBT rights movement.
Pride events will take place throughout this month and the first weekend of June held some colourful demonstrations in Los Angeles, Rome, Detroit, Warsaw, Seoul and Boston, among others.
